Discover the New York Times bestselling series from Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring...until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.

Review:
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout was a wonderful treat to this book review blogging gal. I identified with Katy, or as Dameon likes to call her, Kitten, as I am a book review blogger, and I enjoyed the way Katy enjoys the memes we all know and love for our blogs. The part where Dameon gets to see her in a video of a book mail haul and says you love books, shows, and she was freaking out cause he was seeing in her element of all things bookish. Obisidan also reminded me of two of my favorite paranormal series, twilight, and Crave, as they both have a young teenage girl who falls for a boy but has no clue what he is hiding. I love that this one has its type of paranormal creature, so it stands out a bit from the other two. I was quickly sucked in a devoured this first book. I discovered a book club for JlA fans who read her books, and this is the one they are currently reading. I hope we read the rest of the series at some point—it is an excellent first book.
Yep, love this book so much! Just got the new hardcover special edition cover of it too. Daemon was one of my first book boyfriends, when I actually knew what those were, lol.
