Bella Santini in the Land of Everlasting change is a beautiful story that will take kids through a magical land alongside the hero of the series, Bella Santini. It is a tale with the message that you can have a wide range of emotions, and it ok to process what you feel but do it safely. The adventures are exciting but age-appropriate. Bella and her friends are learning they have inner strength and love for each other and can conquer all problems and roadblocks thrown in their way. The world Bella finds herself in is magical, inspiring, and even believable! I loved this book as an adult; I can imagine how inspiring and empowering a young person will find this book. The covers are eye-catching, and the illustrations are engaging and help tell the story as we join Bella’s adventure to figure out this strange world she is experiencing without her parents to guide her.

In The Land of Everlasting Change, Bella Santini is an ordinary girl who was spirited away to the land of the Fae. She completed her admission trials and was initiated into Yelimoon fairy school. Her nemesis Novaq continues his campaign to get her thrown out of the school. Bella Santini in the Troll war is told in a way that makes colorful and magical characters designed to teach children and adults alike the power of love, coping with their emotions, developing inner resilience, and overcoming challenges engaging and thought-provoking. Bella Santini has now enrolled in Yelimoon, a Fairy school but her nemesis Novaq is still determined to see her removed. In a desperate attempt to be rid of her, he unknowingly sets Bella on a path of discovery and causes a war between the light and dark parts of the Fae Realm. I love when books have lessons, but it doesn’t feel like you are being forced to learn anything. Children relate to characters that are like them, which makes it easier for them to grasp what can be complex situations and how to process feelings that result. Most children deal with bullies in their lifetimes. Adventure with Bella and discovering how to rise above still and achieve great things is a valuable lesson for adults and children alike. A value book for any classroom setting or home library.

About Angela Legh
Angela Legh grew up in San Francisco, CA. She learned from her father that men were people to fear, and that anger is bad. She learned from her mother how to love unconditionally. For the first 54 years of her life, Angela was bullied, first by her father, then by the man she married. In both stages of her life, a fire caused the family to break up. The first fire, when she was five, resulted in the children being sent away for months while her parents sought housing. The second fire, a disastrous California wildfire, caused Angela to question her choices in life; leave her marriage, and seek to find herself. Angela is now an author and self-development mentor.
