I miss you most is a heartfelt story about a little boy who misses his mother and how to process those feelings while they are not connected. The book brings up beautiful things that the little boy can think of that they do together, like when she sings to him at bedtime and swimming, high-fives when they accomplish tasks, dreaming of things to do together future. The illustrations are perfect for engaging children who may not like discussing things when they are sad. A book for this time in all our lives when we cannot visit or travel as much as we usually can. I think it would be a great book to use in a classroom setting to encourage sending cards or letters to those we can’t be with right now. An excellent book and I highly recommend it.
