Review:
Protect The Prince is the second Crown of Shards novel in which Evie is the sole survivor of the belle line and winter queen, and this second novel is where she truly learns what that means. Evie is an evil ass queen, and by the time she survives the many attempts at her life in this second novel, she truly comes into her power. Again, Sullivan is excellent, and the romance between these two is so sweet; as they are not meant to be one a bastard prince and one a queen, how can they overcome the traditions breathing down their necks? I like this series’s action and fast pace, and I am eager for the third book as I have read books one and two multiple times and have yet to read the third one.
