A Magical Mishap — The Veridian Entanglement
I love dipping back into the cozy, magical world created by Anna Mittower, and The Veridian Entanglement was a quick little escape. Set in the charming salon where beauty treatments come with a magical twist, this short story centers on a potion that turns all body hair bright green—meant as a harmless bit of revenge. Of course, things don’t go quite as planned. When customers start getting sick, Philliya has to figure out what went wrong before the problem gets much worse.
I really enjoy how these stories mix cozy fantasy with a small-business vibe. Even though this one is very short, it still delivers a fun, magical mystery and the whimsical charm the series is known for. It felt like a quick, magical snack—short, light, and entertaining. Perfect for when you want a cozy fantasy break between longer books.
