Review:
Surprised by this book in the best way possible. Went into this read completely blind and I LOVED it. Giggling, screaming, kicking my feet the entire time and so many fun plot twists??? Perfect for my romantasy girlies who love a fun fae book with a stabby FMC, slow burn romance and hidden magic. The dual POV was much appreciated for Lorian and Prisca’s characters. Prisca’s character growth was phenomenal. She starts off as a weak, weary girl and comes out the other end a strong, independent, woman you wouldn’t want to mess with. Laurien is broody, snarky and mysterious but he has so much charm you can’t help but call him your next book boyfriend. I can’t WAIT to dive into the next books in the series.
