How Was My Week?

This past week was not too exciting. We did some more yard work on Monday, and as the power went out for a few hours, we started removing the remaining juniper bushes in our backyard. There are a lot of them, and the landscaping company will charge a fortune to remove them, so we are doing it ourselves, and let me tell you, this will take a while. Besides yard work, I discovered late in the week due to some random post I saw on Facebook that a Jennifer L. Armentrout book club reads her books. They are reading Obsidian right now and will be discussing it on Zoom on the 23rd of this month. So I dropped what I was reading and went and found my copy. I had not read it yet and devoured it in two days. It was so good. I will find out on Sunday that if we continue with the series, we will read something else by JLA. Then, on my Literally bookish, we got assigned our pen pals if we signed up for one. I did, and we have already started emailing, messaging, and friending each other on all the socials. I think we are going to be a good match. Have you ever had a pen pal?
