Karigan G'ladheon, unable to resist the lure of being a Green Rider, despite the fact that she wants to shape her own destiny, destroys the rogue magician who penetrated the magical D'Yer Wall, but the damage is irreversible as nightmarish creatures enter into Sacoridia, causing her to become plagued by terrfying visions.

Review

First riders call the second book in the green riders series, and this is my review of it as I re-read the series in anticipation of the newest book, Winterligt book seven out September 7, 2021. First Rider’s call reminds me why I continue with this fantastic series. Each book builds on Kerrigan as she embraces her call to be a green rider. In this book, we also get a more in-depth look at the history of the green riders and what has transpired to bring the riders to the lowest count in their long history. Past relics are uncovered that have not been seen in years that will get the green riders back to their glory days, the dyer walls secrets are slowly being unraveled, and Kerrigan is gradually finding her place in life. This is a beautiful series, and I highly recommend it.
