I absolutely loved Spellcaster! Weatherstone College is exactly the kind of magical-school setting that sucks me in, but it was the history between Paisley and Logan that really hooked me. They grew up together before tragedy and their families’ feud tore everything apart, so when they’re reunited, there’s this fantastic enemies-to-lovers tension layered over everything they used to mean to each other.
There are SO many secrets in this book. Every time I thought we were getting closer to understanding the magic, the family feud, or what was really happening at Weatherstone, another question popped up. Normally that could frustrate me, but here it just made me want answers even more.
And that ending?! NUTS. I was absolutely not prepared for where this story left us.
What really sold me, though, was the overall vibe. I haven’t read a magical-school series in a long time that gave me that same addictive feeling I got from Zodiac Academy, and Spellcaster finally scratched that itch. The world feels unique, the magic is intriguing, the romance had me hooked, and I need to know what happens next.
A must-read for romantasy and magical-school fans. I cannot recommend this one enough, and I seriously cannot wait to dive into the next book!
