The Cousins by Karen M. McManus is about three cousins whose grandmother disowned her children in a letter saying, ” I know what you did. How creepy that your mother would write you a letter scaring you off from her. The grandmother is wealthy and has this fantastic resort she invites the three cousins to work at over the summer, though she has never met them. The summer jobs are the chance for the three cousins to learn more about their family The Storys, but what will they uncover. It is an interesting mystery with plot twists, a bittersweet ending, and people who are not who they seem to be.
