How Was My Week:
This past week, I spent time finishing up a few last books for May. In May, I was able to read 17 books. The breakdown is three ebooks, six audiobooks, and 8 physical books. My favorite book for May was Mind Games by Nora Roberts; I completed the Defy the Night Trilogy. I have now started reading the Crave series for my bedtime read, and I love it so much that I am annotating all the good stuff; tracy wolff lets her character Grace have so many snarky comebacks, and it echos so much of Twilight, which I loved that it is going to be a keeper series for my shelves. In June, I will start the month with Sarah Beth Durst Spellshop’s book. I am listening to Spin of Fate on audiobook and reading a Kindle Unlimited book. I have not done that in a while; I usually just read my Netgalley arcs, but I wanted to read something else this week. I will try out the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot as a buddy read later in the month. Hope you have a great start to June.
QOTW, do you like to annotate books? Have you ever annotated a book? Do you have favorite supplies you want if you annotate? Have you ever bought a book the author annotated? I have one. It is the first book, the Keeper of Lost Cities, by Shannon Messenger. I find it fun to read her thoughts as I read the book.

You’re doing well with so many challenges. I really enjoyed Mind Games too.
My daughter has the annotated version of Shannon Messenger’s first Keeper of the Lost Cities book. We both enjoyed the notes the author added–it was like reading it along side her. I do not annotate my books, but I do sometimes journal as I read and use post it notes to mark spots I want to remember.
I am interested in Spellshop and hope you enjoy it! Your other current reads all sound good too!
I hope you have a great week!
You had a great reading month in May. I just finished reading Mind Games today and really liked it. Great work by Nora Roberts.
I hope you have a great week!
I really need to read the Crave series, especially with the reminders of Twilight as that is one of my all time favorite series! The closest I’ve ever come to annotating is a long time ago when I first started blogging, and only had physical books, I would put post-its on the pages of bits I wanted to make sure I remembered quotes and parts to talk about. I somewhat do that with Goodreads these days when I remember.
