Jan Review:
When I finished all i could think was wow what an emotional roller coaster. This book has been compared a lot to the Hunger Games series and i can see where there are similarites to the two series but i can also see where this one stands all alone. It draws you in and makes you want to keep reading cause you become curious as to how this whole faction society functions and where the author wants to take you on this adventure. You pretty much get to learn about the who society right along with the main character in the book and that really made it the most enjoyable for me. I like not knowing all the details at the start of a book and finding out more as you go along. I am very excited to read book two.
I recently reread this book before reading the other two in the trilogy. I found the idea of society being divvied up like this, fascinating. It gave me so much more to think about than just the story in the narrative. I’m on the list for the audio at my local library and two other services that they use.
