300 years in the future Earth is connected to two other
dimensions, Alfheim, the elven world, and Dusk, the orcish world.
People with powers called Others, are sent to a government facility
called the Consortium in order to work for the governments of
these three worlds.
Corvina Edwards is a wordsmith who should be working for the
government but has decided to use her power to pursue fame and
fortune. And she is rich and successful and has several books,
movies, and TV shows, about the worlds that she sees through her
powers as a wordsmith.
When something goes wrong at the Consortium, the queen of the
elves tasks Corvina with finding out what or face a swift death. And
just when Corvina understands the gravity of the situation she is
sent to one of the worlds that she watches from the safety of her
room.
Now stuck in a new world Corvina must rely on her wits and the
help of others in order to find her way back home. But things are
never easy and new friends and as easy to make as new enemies.

Review:

To Weave Words Like Stars is an interesting Urban Fantasy where the world-building took a bit to get used to. We have separate worlds, all connected by one central consortium. We have a few different types of creatures, and there is the unique addition of a wordsmith character. Now, that sounds like a talent I would like to have. It is a power that can be dangerous and helpful, and our character struggles with using it. To Weave Words Like Stars is an outstanding story, and I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for us.
