Sunday Post 635: Flooring Complete

How Was My Week?

The weather was predicted to be intense and hot this week, so we tackled the final section of laying the new floor in the living room. We left this room for last as it is the most significant room in which we are putting the new flooring. It also contains several large items that would have to be moved, such as the dining room table, the fake fireplace, and three different tanks, two of which have turtles and one with a fish. We tackled it over three days. We are dividing it into sections, moving the furniture, pulling up old floorboards, and installing the new sections. I have included pictures below, one of the final room views, and two in-process pictures. I swear the new flooring makes the room look even more significant.
In bookish and blog news, I have the new professional banner and social media icons that link you to email me, such as my Instagram profile, Goodreads profile, Twitter, and Facebook, so follow me wherever you like or drop me an email. I joined Fable, a book club app, last month, so I need to tackle the two other books I wanted to read with them this coming week. One is James Patterson’s Maximum Ride series, which I have never read, and the other is Serpent of Wings and Night. I also finished the third book in the Crave series so that I will start Court in the next few days. I hope you have a great reading week.
