Blank is a wonderful delight to read. I felt that the characters were authentic, and I could see myself in the situations depicted in this book. We have a struggling author who is trying to come up with her next-bit hit after she has an outstanding number-one novel and movie. She has marriage issues, family dynamics, and, out of the blue, an epic book idea that changes the whole marketing dynamic of books. It had me thinking about how I pick my books, my influences, and whether I have been tricked into agreeing that this is a number one best seller. Blank is a creative idea that did precisely what the author wanted. It got people talking, got people’s innovative ideas flowing, and had the industry rethink arcs and how books are marketed. The author also worked out her family dynamics.
