Welcome to the amazing world of dinosaurs! Children ages 8 and up can discover where these prehistoric creatures lived, the food they ate, and what they may have looked like. Along the way, they'll encounter bone-crushing teeth, slashing claws, and spiked tails while learning fascinating facts about dinosaur eggs and fossils, moving continents, climate changes, exploding volcanoes, and even an asteroid crashing into Earth.
Review
This is a great book! The illustrations are nice and big for young children to color. What I like also is how the pages are set up to teach children about each dinosaur and also the work of what paleontologists do. The questions that children usually have—such as what caused dinosaurs to die, what they ate, where they lived, and when they lived—can all be answered in this book. Even as an adult, I learned a lot about dinosaurs in just the first few pages. Being able to color and learn at the same time is what makes this book series unique and special.
